Victoria Falls & Safari Escape
- Day 1: Arrival & Zambezi Sunset at Victoria Falls
On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, you will be met and transferred to Ilala Lodge in Zimbabwe. This afternoon, settle into your lodge and take a moment to relax. As evening approaches, board a sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. With a cocktail in hand, glide across the water, listen to the river’s history, and watch as the sky transforms in golden light. Dinner follows at the lodge amid views to match. - Day 2: Crossing to Chobe & First Safari Moments
After breakfast and a guided tour of the Victoria Falls themselves, you depart Zimbabwe and enter Botswana. Arriving in Chobe, you’ll settle into Camp Kuzuma, nestled in a private concession. Following a light lunch, relax on your private deck or by the pool to soak in your surroundings. Later in the day you head out on your first safari drive, traversing the concession in search of elephants, antelopes, and lions while the evening closes in. - Day 3: Deep Safari Days in Chobe
Today is dedicated to absorbing the richness of Chobe’s wildlife on full safari drives within the camp’s expansive grounds. The region is renowned for its dense elephant populations, wild dogs when in season, and a palette of game that shifts with water and vegetation. Return to camp each time to rest and dine under the stars. - Day 4: Into Hwange’s Wilderness
After breakfast, you travel back to Zimbabwe, heading to Nantwich in Hwange National Park. The park stretches across vast savannahs, dunes, and forest, hosting thousands of elephants, lions, zebra, and more. Over the next two nights, you explore remote wildlife corridors, walk by waterholes, and wake at dawn for game drives that bring you close to the rhythms of the bush. - Day 5: Full Hwange Immersion
Spend your day inside Hwange, exploring its more untouched regions, often bypassed by larger safari operations. From elevated lookout points to lodge-front waterholes frequented by elephant herds, each drive or walk reveals something new. In the evening, gather at camp to share stories, wildlife sightings, and the quiet power that only the African bush can deliver. - Day 6: Farewell & Departure
On the final morning after breakfast, you’ll check out of camp and be transferred back to Victoria Falls Airport in time for your scheduled flight home. With cameras full, hearts full, you carry away memories of waterfalls, wildlife, and a journey balanced between grandeur and tranquility.
