Itineraries

Waterfall & Safari Immersion

Victoria Falls Explorer

  • Day 1: Arrival & Sunset on the Zambezi River
You arrive in Victoria Falls where your Severius guide meets you at the airport and transfers you to your 4-star lodge. You settle in and in the late afternoon prepare for the first highlight: a sunset cruise along the Zambezi River. As the sun dips low, you glide silently on the river, watching hippos, crocodiles, and elephants near the banks while the sky turns to gold and pink. You enjoy refreshments onboard, calm breezes, and views across the water before returning to the lodge for dinner.
  • Day 2: Dual-Sided Falls & Traditional Culture
After breakfast, you cross the border (or board boat/bridge transfer) to experience Victoria Falls from both the Zimbabwe and Zambia sides. You visit multiple lookouts to see different angles of the roaring water, mist, and lush rainforest surrounding the chasm. Between falls walks, explore a local market to intermingle with artisans selling woodwork, beads, and batik. In the evening, you dress in traditional “chitenge” fabrics and attend The Boma: an experience of food, drums, dance, face-painting, fortune telling, and local storytelling that brings alive Zimbabwean spirit in colour, flavour, and rhythm.
  • Day 3: Chobe Safari Experience
Early in the morning after breakfast, you cross into Botswana to reach Chobe National Park, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife gathering places. You spend the day on safari, searching for elephants, buffalo, lions, and more, during both morning and afternoon game drives. Your guide finds the best spots, and you travel in comfortable safari vehicles. At midday you enjoy a bush lunch or lodge lunch, then resume wildlife viewing in golden afternoon light, returning to your lodge at dusk.
  • Day 4: Farewell & Departure
On the final morning, after breakfast, you have a moment to reflect on your stay, perhaps enjoy a short walk or a last look at the views. Then you are transferred to Victoria Falls Airport (or departure point) for your onward journey home, carrying memories of thunderous falls, wildlife sightings, cultural richness, and sunset river magic.
